Physical Testing Equipment Services, Inc. has manufactured and serviced test equipment,
instrumentation, grips and fixtures and accessories since 1971. Founded on experience
grandfathered from Scott Testers, Inc., PTES perpetuates the Scott tradition.

The PTES AccuTest line of constant-rate-of-extension testers features digital, microprocessor and
computerized systems in both 500 and 1000 pound capacity load frames. Over 50 styles of
pneumatic and manual closure tensile and tear grips and adhesion, ball burst, puncture,
deflection and compression fixtures are manufactured to support a wide variety of test
applications and materials.

"Scott" constant-rate-of-traverse testers, the Models LG Aluminum Block Aging Oven
(28 chambers) and P-4 William’s Plastometer are newly manufactured. PTES continues to
support the Models IP-4 (inclined plane) and STI, NBS and GSV (mooney viscometer) testers.

The digital AccuTest/501 is a 0-500 pound tensile and compression tester for QA, QC, R & D and product evaluation testing. It is ideally suited for testing fabric, wire, thread, fiber, rubber, plastics, adhesives, paper, ceramics, metals and other materials to ASTM, military and industrial standards.

Designed for ease-of-use, the standalone 501 provides a wide range of standard features.
All force measurement, crosshead motion, speed and pneumatic clamp controls are contained
within the base console of the load frame. All controls are centrally and logically located on the
control panel for easy access and use. The AccuTest/501 is designed for use in the laboratory and
production. This cost effective, yet high quality instrument meets the need for performance and
reliability with a compact, durable and space-saving design. 1000 pound capacity systems are
also available.
